new old understanding book: Drive

by Daniel H.Pink. Shows how we are more motivated with a better purpose and for the betterment of the world, or a bigger cause. Something I always understood and always wondered why most managers I worked with didn't see this, so was nice to see how he proves this with studies etc. Examples also help the non believers I guess. Very good book, worth reading for the future managers I hope they will all see this.

Read to laugh: Duck Soup for the Soul

by Swami Beyondananda, the altered ego of Steve Bhaerman. Is a great pick me up, and to help you get a smile more often, all day and every day. To learn to pump ironnies etc. Very good.
Helps you to keep smiling !!!

Great book on Meditation: Be The Change

How meditation Can Transform You and the World, by Ed and Deb Shapiro. Give many options but suggest you do around third minutes a day on mindfulness based meditation to improve the feel good part of your brain. Loving all parts of yourself, in prayer such as: May all of the parts of me be one. May I be well, in body, mind, and spirit.

Another great book: Sea Sick: Global Ocean in Crisis

by Alanna Mitchell, who worked at the Globe and Mail, and lives in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. She travels to different research vessels, showing how we are changing the oceans very basic life animals and plants, and how they may effect us very soon. Plus what China is trying to do, and how what they do will effect our own future. Very good insightful reading. Thank you!

You can now choose to be 100! How, you may ask?

Start by thinking you can live to 100. Then read "Dare to be 100" by Walter Bortz 1996. and / or, Next read "Younger Next Year" by Chris Crowley + Henry S. Lodge MD They give a step by step exercise program and just sensible eating is also required, plus you must have purpose to your life. I have retired and for many years expected to live to be 100. But now I know how to get there, as these two books easily explain the plan.

May the blessings be!
